ARTICLE 2:  RECOGNITION

2.1The District confirms its recognition of the Association as the exclusive representative for that unit of employees recognized by the District per its Resolution dated the 29th day of April, 1976, and temporary contract employees.  Agreement to this Article does not constitute a waiver of the right of the Association to petition PERB for unit clarification.

2.1.1  The employees of the representative unit, as amended by Board Resolution on December 10, 1996, are comprised of the following positions:

2.Adult Education Teachers
       3.Behavior Specialist
       4.Counselors
5.High School Activity Director
6.High School Athletic Directors
7.Intern Teachers
8.JAFROTC
9.K-12th Grade Classroom Teachers

12.School and District Librarians
13.School Nurse
14.Special Education Teachers
15.Special Education Preschool Teacher
16.Special Education Program Specialist
17.Speech and Language Specialists

and excluding all other positions not specifically enumerated above which include, but are not limited to:
